It's Spirit week at school - I completely forgot to take a picture of my excellent 80's day outfit, though. Bum-out.
I found this brilliant turquoise silk kimono-style shirt and wore it belted with a short skirt and my riding boots.
If I do say so myself, I looked awesome.
Of course everyone else just wore Forever 21 neon leggings, ack.
Today I chose to lay low, sticking avec the generic 'Sound Garden' t-shirt and shorts.
Welcome to Cali, where Fall doesn't start 'till Halloween. Nice in theory, except I would really like to whip out my jeans and sweatshirts nowadays.
As you might be able to guess, I'm in a relatively incognito mood - just not feeling too remarkable, I guess. At least I haven't pulled out the Ugg boots, right?
In other news, I'm pulling every tiny thread/string I've got at my disposal to get a job.
I'm sick of feeling like a lump, going from school to homework to the TV to dinner every single night and begging money on the weekends.
As for THIS weekend - Homecoming! Though I'll be bunking at a friend's house 'cause my family's running off to the Colorado River in Arizona. Logic? I can't find any. Regardless.
I've already got a dress and heels - I'm still figuring out the accessory situation, but at least I can drive myself wherever now - within my 11 o'clock curfew haha.
But now I've eight pages of notes and fifty conjugations of "apprendre" to do, so au revoir.
